More Than Twenty Years of Service to the People of Zambia
For more than twenty years, the ministries of the Sisters of the Holy Spirit and Mary Immaculate have given new life in a variety of ways to the people of Zambia. Our Sisters have spearheaded ways to help AIDS patients and infants at risk, to secure home-based health care for those with little or no access to required medicine, to serve AIDS and malaria victims, and to provide support to others suffering from other diseases.
Ministries in Zambia also include feeding programs and building traditional houses for the abandoned elderly; pre-school, nutrition, and medical care for orphans, as well as care for mothers and their children; and social services for individuals and families. And now, with the help of very generous donors, we have begun a project to build more substantial block houses for families.
